Step by step instruction
A tiny button cell battery installed inside the your key fob. Remove screw on the back of the key fob. Spin the keyless entry remote over and look for at least 1 fastener holding in the plastic.
Gently try to open your key with flat head screwdriver. Change one CR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it in keyless entry fob's case. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your remote key fob will not work if you put battery wrong way.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, verify that all is functioning by testing buttons on circuit board.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to assemble the two halves together by hands from top to bottom. If your fob shell firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step. Screw the back of the remote key fob.
