How to Open Your 1999 Acura TL Key Fob & Change Battery

What type battery key fob use
Prior to open remote key fob check all that you need: flat head screwdriver, 1xCR2025 battery and phillips head screwdriver.- flat head screwdriver

Step by step instruction
A button cell battery installed in the your key fob. Remove screw on the back of the remote key fob. Spin the remote key fob over and look for at least one screw holding in the plastic.
Gently try to disassemble your keyless entry remote with flat head screwdriver. Replace 1 CR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with new one CR2025. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new battery installed, check keyless entry remote functionality by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your keyless entry fob's body in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your case pieces together and assemble it together by hands from top to bottom. If your fob case firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step. Screw fastener in the back of the remote key fob.
