Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's keyless entry remote
Inside of your remote key fob installed tiny coin cell battery. Carefully try to pry apart your keyless entry remote with flat head screwdriver. Change two CR2016 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old batteries with fresh one CR2016. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your key fob will not work if you place battery wrong way.
Before assembling fob’s case, check that everything is functioning by testing buttons on circuit board.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Accurately try to put the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. If your key case firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
