Simple steps to change the battery in your car's key fob
A small coin battery installed inside the your remote key fob. Gently try to disassemble your remote key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Remove 1 CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery in keyless entry fob's shell. Battery must be placed with the same position as was a previous. Your key will not work if you mistakenly put battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, verify key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to assemble the two halves together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key fob body for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
