Step by step guide
A button battery installed inside the your keyless entry remote. Unscrew the back of the key fob. Spin the key fob over and find for at least 1 fastener holding in the plastic.
Delicately try to pry apart your keyless entry remote with pry tools. Change two CR2016 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old batteries with fresh one CR2016. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you put battery wrong way.
After the new batteries installed, verify keyless entry remote by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s shell in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your case two halves together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key body for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step. Screw the back of the key fob.
