How to Open Your 1999 Isuzu Rodeo Key Fob and Change Battery

Before you start to open key fob check all that you need: 2xCR2016 batteries, flat head screwdriver and phillips head screwdriver.- phillips head screwdriver

Step by step guide
A tiny button battery installed in the your keyless entry remote. Remove screw on the back of the remote key fob. Flip the key fob over and look for at least one fastener holding in the plastic.
Carefully try to disassemble your fob with flat head screwdriver. Replace 2xCR2016 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old batteries with fresh one CR2016. Battery must be installed with the same polarity as was a previous. Your remote key fob will not work if you by mistake put battery wrong way.
After the new batteries installed, verify key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If everything working good, assemble your fob’s case in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Delicately try to put the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. If your fob shell tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step. Screw the back of the key fob.
