Simple steps to replace the battery in your XJR's remote key fob
A button battery installed in the your key fob. Delicately try to open your remote key fob with pry tools. Change CR2016 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old batteries with fresh one CR2016. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your remote key fob will not work if you place battery wrong way.
Before assembling fob’s case, make sure that all functions works by pressing buttons on remote key fob.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Delicately try to put the two halves together by hands from top to bottom. If your key fob body tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
