Step by step instruction
A button cell battery installed inside the your keyless entry remote. Open key first, and then try to pry apart the remote key fob. Your remote key fob key can be unmounted with slide.
Carefully try to pry apart your keyless entry remote with hands or flat head screwdriver. Remove two CR1620 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Change old batteries with new one CR1620. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling fob’s case, verify that all working properly by testing buttons on circuit board.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to put the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. Check your key body for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
