Simple steps to change the battery in your car's key fob
Inside of your key fob installed button cell battery. Accurately try to open your keyless entry remote with hands or flat head screwdriver. Replace 1 CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it inside fob’s shell. Battery must be placed with the same position as was an old. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you by mistake put battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, verify remote key fob by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your fob’s shell in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your case two halves together and assemble it in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your key fob shell for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
