Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's keyless entry remote
A tiny button cell battery installed in the your keyless entry remote. Remove any internal key first, and then try to pry apart the key fob.
Carefully try to disassemble your keyless entry remote with hands or flat head screwdriver. Remove CR2025 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new batteries in keyless entry fob's case. Battery must be placed with the same position as was a previous. Your key fob will not work if you by mistake place battery wrong way.
After the new batteries installed, check key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If everything working fine, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your case two halves together and put it together by hands from top to bottom. Check your key body for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
