Before you start to disassembly remote key fob make sure that you have all recommended tools and materials: flat head screwdriver, phillips head screwdriver and 1xCR2025 battery.- phillips head screwdriver

Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's key fob
Inside of your key fob installed coin battery. Unscrew the back of the remote key fob. Spin the keyless entry remote over and look for at least one fastener holding in the plastic.
Gently try to pry apart your key fob with pry tools. Replace one CR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with new one CR2025. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling fob’s case, make sure that everything is functioning by testing buttons on circuit board.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Delicately try to assemble the pieces in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your fob body for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step. Screw fastener in the back of the key fob.
