How to Replace the Battery in a 2000 Toyota Land Cruiser Key Fob

What kind of battery key fob require
Replacing battery in keyless entry remote require flat head screwdriver, CR2016 battery and phillips head screwdriver. Prepare these materials and tools before opening and make sure to match the type of your fob’s batteries.- flat head screwdriver

Step by step instruction
A tiny button battery installed inside the your remote key fob. Remove fasteners on the back of the keyless entry remote. Flip the keyless entry remote over and look for at least one fastener holding in the plastic.
Accurately try to open your fob with pry tools. Change 1xCR2016 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with fresh one CR2016. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your key will not work if you place battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, verify keyless entry remote by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your case two halves together and put it together by hands from top to bottom. If your remote key fob body tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step. Screw fastener in the back of the key fob.
