Simple steps to change the battery in your S40's key fob
A small coin battery installed inside the your keyless entry remote. Gently try to open your key fob with pry tools. Replace 1xCR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with new one CR2032. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your remote key fob will not work if you place battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, check remote key fob by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s shell in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your case pieces together and assemble it together by hands from top to bottom. If your keyless entry remote body tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
