How to Replace the Battery in a 2001 Hyundai XG300 Key Fob

Step by step instruction
Inside of your remote key fob installed small coin cell battery. Remove fasteners on the back of the key fob. Spin the keyless entry remote over and look for at least 1 fastener holding in the plastic.
Gently try to open your key with pry tools. Replace one CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with fresh one CR2032. Battery must be installed with the same polarity as was a previous. Your key fob will not work if you by mistake put battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, verify remote key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s shell in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your body two halves together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. If your key fob body firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step. Screw the back of the keyless entry remote.
