Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's key fob
A coin cell battery installed in the your key fob. Carefully try to pry apart your keyless entry remote with pry tools. Remove 1xCR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with new one CR2032. Battery must be installed with the same polarity as was an old. Your key will not work if you mistakenly place battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, verify remote key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If everything working good, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your body pieces together and put it together by hands from top to bottom. Check your fob shell for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
