Step by step instruction
A tiny button cell battery installed inside the your key fob. Open key before you try to pry apart the keyless entry remote. Your key fob key can be unmounted with slide.
Carefully try to disassemble your key fob with flat head screwdriver. Replace one CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery in fob’s shell. Battery must be installed with the same position as was a previous. Your remote key fob will not work if you mistakenly place battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, verify keyless entry remote functionality by pressing buttons. If everything working good, assemble your fob’s case in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to assemble the two halves in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your remote key fob shell for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
