2002 Cadillac Escalade Key Fob Battery Replacement Guide

If your Escalade remote key fob is no longer open doors properly, the cell battery likely needs to be replaced. It's not difficult to replace the battery in your keyless entry remote with our instruction. All tools, that you need is outlined in this post.
What type battery key fob require
Prior to disassembly remote key fob check all that you need: 1 CR2032 battery and flat head screwdriver.- 1xCR2032 battery

Step by step instruction
A small button battery installed in the your key fob. Accurately try to open your key with pry tools. Replace CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it inside fob’s body. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
When the new battery installed, check key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your keyless entry fob's case in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to put the two halves in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your keyless entry remote case for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
