Step by step instruction
A button cell battery installed inside the your keyless entry remote. Gently try to open your key with hands or flat head screwdriver. Replace 1xCR1616 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery inside keyless entry fob's body. Battery must be placed with the same position as was an old. Your key will not work if you mistakenly put battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, verify keyless entry remote by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s case in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to put the two halves together by hands from top to bottom. Check your remote key fob case for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
