How to Open Your 2002 Mazda 626 Key Fob and Change Battery

What type battery keyless entry remote require
Before going to open keyless entry remote make sure that you have all recommended tools and materials: flat head screwdriver and CR2032 battery.- flat head screwdriver

Step by step instruction
Inside of your remote key fob installed coin cell battery. Carefully try to disassemble your key with hands or flat head screwdriver. Change 1xCR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery inside keyless entry fob's shell. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling fob’s case, check that everything is functioning by pressing buttons on key fob.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your case two halves together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your key shell for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
