How to Replace the Battery in a 2002 Mercedes-Benz C32 AMG Key Fob

What kind of battery remote key fob require
Before starting open remote key fob check all that you need: flat head screwdriver and two CR2025 batteries.- flat head screwdriver
- 2xCR2025 batteries
Step by step instruction
Inside of your remote key fob installed small coin battery. Remove any internal key first, and then try to pry apart the keyless entry remote.
Delicately try to open your fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Change 2xCR2025 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Change old batteries with fresh one CR2025. Battery must be placed with the same position as was a previous. Your remote key fob will not work if you mistakenly put battery wrong way.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, check that all functions works by pressing buttons on keyless entry remote.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your case pieces together and put it together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key body for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
