Simple steps to replace the battery in your CLK55 AMG's remote key fob
A tiny coin cell battery installed inside the your key fob. Remove any internal key before you try to pry apart the remote key fob.
Carefully try to disassemble your key with hands or flat head screwdriver. Replace two CR2025 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Get new batteries and install it inside keyless entry fob's shell. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your key fob will not work if you put battery wrong way.
After the new batteries installed, check keyless entry remote by pressing buttons. If everything working good, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your case pieces together and assemble it in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your remote key fob body for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
