How to Open Your 2002 Toyota Celica Key Fob and Change Battery

Remote key fob grant access to your Celica. Once the key fob battery is dead you will lose your fob’s ability to control distance opening function. Replacing battery in keyless entry remote require flat head screwdriver, 1 CR2025 battery and phillips head screwdriver. Prepare these materials and tools before opening and make sure to match the size of your keyless entry fob's batteries.- phillips head screwdriver

Step by step instruction
A small coin battery installed in the your keyless entry remote. Remove screw on the back of the remote key fob. Flip the key fob over and find for at least 1 screw holding in the plastic.
Accurately try to pry apart your key with pry tools. Remove one CR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with new one CR2025. Battery must be placed with the same position as was a previous. Your key fob will not work if you mistakenly put battery wrong way.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, check that everything working properly by pressing buttons on keyless entry remote.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your case two halves together and put it together by hands from top to bottom. If your key body tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step. Screw the back of the key fob.
