Simple steps to change the battery in your car's keyless entry remote
A small coin battery installed inside the your key fob. Remove screw on the back of the key fob. Flip the keyless entry remote over and find for at least 1 fastener holding in the plastic.
Delicately try to disassemble your remote key fob with pry tools. Replace one CR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with fresh one CR2025. Battery must be placed with the same position as was a previous. Your key fob will not work if you mistakenly place battery wrong way.
Before assembling fob’s case, check that all is functioning by testing buttons on remote key fob.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your body pieces together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. If your remote key fob case tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step. Screw the back of the remote key fob.
