How to Open Your 2003 Acura TL Key Fob & Change Battery

If your TL remote key fob is no longer open doors correct, the battery surely needs to be replaced. It's not complicated to replace the battery in your remote key fob by yourself. All you need is outlined below.

Prior to disassembly key fob check all that you need: 1 CR2025 battery, phillips head screwdriver and flat head screwdriver.- phillips head screwdriver
- 1xCR2025 battery
- flat head screwdriver
Simple steps to change the battery in your car's remote key fob
Inside of your key fob installed tiny button cell battery. Remove fasteners on the back of the remote key fob. Spin the key fob over and look for at least 1 screw holding in the plastic.
Delicately try to pry apart your keyless entry remote with pry tools. Replace 1xCR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with fresh one CR2025. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new battery installed, check key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your keyless entry fob's case in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your body pieces together and assemble it in place by hands from top to bottom. If your fob case firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step. Screw fastener in the back of the keyless entry remote.
