Simple steps to change the battery in your car's keyless entry remote
A small coin battery installed inside the your remote key fob. Carefully try to open your remote key fob with pry tools. Change one CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery in keyless entry fob's case. Battery must be installed with the same polarity as was a previous. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you by mistake put battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, verify remote key fob by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your keyless entry fob's shell in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your case two halves together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your remote key fob case for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
