What is the battery keyless entry remote require
Prior to open remote key fob check all that you need: flat head screwdriver and two CR2016 batteries.- flat head screwdriver
- 2xCR2016 batteries
Step by step guide
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed small button cell battery. Delicately try to open your remote key fob with pry tools. Remove two CR2016 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new batteries inside keyless entry fob's body. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your keyless entry remote will not work if you connect battery wrong way.
When the new batteries installed, verify key fob by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s case in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Accurately try to put the two halves together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your remote key fob case for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
