Step by step guide
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed tiny coin cell battery. Delicately try to open your key fob with pry tools. Remove 1 CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new battery in fob’s case. Battery must be placed with the same polarity as was a previous. Your remote key fob will not work if you mistakenly place battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, check key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your fob’s shell in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your case pieces together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key shell for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
