Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's keyless entry remote
A coin battery installed inside the your key fob. Remove screw on the back of the remote key fob. Spin the key fob over and look for at least 1 screw holding in the plastic.
Accurately try to disassemble your remote key fob with pry tools. Change 1 CR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with fresh one CR2025. Battery must be placed with the same position as was an old. Your remote key fob will not work if you mistakenly put battery wrong way.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, verify that all functions works by testing buttons on keyless entry remote.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your case two halves together and assemble it in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key case for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step. Screw the back of the keyless entry remote.
