2003 Jaguar XJ8 Key Fob Battery Replacement Instructions
Key fob allow access to your auto. If the key fob battery is weak you not to be able close doors remotely. What kind of battery remote key fob require
Changing battery in key fob require one CR2032 battery and flat head screwdriver. Prepare these materials and tools before opening and make sure to match the size of your fob’s batteries.- flat head screwdriver
- 1xCR2032 battery
Step by step instruction
Inside of your remote key fob installed button cell battery. Open the key if it is in the remote key fob.
Gently try to pry apart your key fob with pry tools. Replace 1xCR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with new one CR2032. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling fob’s case, make sure that all functions works by pressing buttons on remote key fob.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Accurately try to assemble the two halves together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your keyless entry remote case for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
