Step by step instruction
A tiny coin cell battery installed in the your key fob. Accurately try to pry apart your key with hands or flat head screwdriver. Change 1 CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with new one CR2032. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your key fob will not work if you connect battery wrong way.
When the new battery installed, check keyless entry remote functionality by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your fob’s case in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to assemble the two halves in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your remote key fob case for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
