How to Open Your 2003 Lincoln Navigator Key Fob and Change Battery

Key fob grant access to your Lincoln. When the key fob battery is discharged you lose your keyless entry fob's ability to use distance opening function. It's not difficult to replace the battery in your remote key fob with our guide. All tools, that you need is described below.
What type battery keyless entry remote require
Before beginning open remote key fob check all that you need: flat head screwdriver and one CR2032 battery.- 1xCR2032 battery

Step by step instruction
A small coin battery installed inside the your keyless entry remote. Delicately try to disassemble your key fob with pry tools. Remove CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it inside fob’s body. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new battery installed, check keyless entry remote functionality by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your body two halves together and assemble it in place by hands from top to bottom. If your keyless entry remote shell tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
