How to Replace the Battery in a 2003 Mercedes-Benz C280 Key Fob

Step by step instruction
Inside of your remote key fob installed small coin battery. Move the key out of the way if it is in the keyless entry remote.
Gently try to pry apart your key fob with pry tools. Remove CR2025 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old batteries with fresh one CR2025. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new batteries installed, verify remote key fob by pressing buttons. If everything working properly, assemble your keyless entry fob's shell in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Accurately try to assemble the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. Check your keyless entry remote case for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
