Before going to open remote key fob check all that you need: flat head screwdriver and 2 CR2025 batteries.- 2xCR2025 batteries

Simple steps to replace the battery in your CLK430's key fob
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed tiny coin cell battery. Move the key out of the way if it is in the remote key fob.
Carefully try to disassemble your key fob with flat head screwdriver. Remove 2 CR2025 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new batteries inside keyless entry fob's shell. Battery must be installed with the same polarity as was an old. Your key fob will not work if you mistakenly put battery wrong way.
Before assembling fob’s case, check that everything is functioning by testing buttons on circuit board.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your case two halves together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your key fob case for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
