Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's remote key fob
A small coin cell battery installed inside the your remote key fob. Move the key out of the way if it is in the remote key fob.
Delicately try to open your keyless entry remote with flat head screwdriver. Replace 2 CR2025 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Get new batteries and install it inside fob’s case. Battery must be installed with the same polarity as was an old. Your key will not work if you mistakenly put battery wrong way.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, check that all functions works by testing buttons on key fob.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to assemble the two halves together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your keyless entry remote case for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
