Don't forget before open key fob be sure that you have all required tools and materials: flat head screwdriver and two CR2025 batteries.- 2xCR2025 batteries

Simple steps to replace the battery in your ML320's remote key fob
Inside of your key fob installed small button cell battery. Remove any internal key first, and then try to pry apart the remote key fob.
Accurately try to pry apart your remote key fob with flat head screwdriver. Replace two CR2025 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new batteries in keyless entry fob's shell. Battery must be placed with the same polarity as was a previous. Your key will not work if you by mistake put battery wrong way.
After the new batteries installed, check remote key fob by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your body two halves together and assemble it in place by hands from top to bottom. If your remote key fob shell tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
