Simple steps to replace the battery in your car's keyless entry remote
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed tiny button battery. Accurately try to pry apart your key with pry tools. Remove one CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with new one CR2032. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
When the new battery installed, verify key fob by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s case in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your case pieces together and put it together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key fob body for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
