How to Replace the Battery in a 2003 Toyota Prius Key Fob

What is the battery key fob require
Before beginning open keyless entry remote check all that you need: CR2025 battery, phillips head screwdriver and flat head screwdriver.- phillips head screwdriver

Step by step guide
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed button battery. Remove fasteners on the back of the remote key fob. Spin the key fob over and find for at least one fastener holding in the plastic.
Delicately try to pry apart your key with hands or flat head screwdriver. Remove one CR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with fresh one CR2025. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your remote key fob will not work if you place battery wrong way.
Before assembling fob’s case, verify that everything is functioning by testing buttons on key fob.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Gently try to assemble the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. If your remote key fob case firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step. Screw fastener in the back of the key fob.
