Before going to open remote key fob make sure that you have all recommended tools and materials: phillips head screwdriver, flat head screwdriver and 1 CR2025 battery.- phillips head screwdriver

Step by step guide
A coin battery installed in the your remote key fob. Unscrew the back of the key fob. Spin the keyless entry remote over and find for at least 1 fastener holding in the plastic.
Delicately try to open your remote key fob with pry tools. Replace CR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Change old battery with fresh one CR2025. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling fob’s case, make sure that all functions works by pressing buttons on circuit board.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your shell two halves together and assemble it in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your key fob case for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step. Screw fastener in the back of the keyless entry remote.
