How to Replace the Battery in a 2003 Toyota Yaris Key Fob
If your Yaris remote key fob is no longer open doors properly, the cell battery likely needs to be changed. Before you start to open remote key fob make sure that you have all recommended tools and materials: CR2016 battery, phillips head screwdriver and flat head screwdriver.- phillips head screwdriver

Simple steps to change the battery in your car's remote key fob
Inside of your remote key fob installed small button battery. Unscrew the back of the keyless entry remote. Spin the key fob over and look for at least 1 screw holding in the plastic.
Carefully try to open your fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Change CR2016 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with new one CR2016. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your key fob will not work if you connect battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, verify keyless entry remote functionality by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s shell in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your case two halves together and assemble it together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your fob body for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step. Screw fastener in the back of the keyless entry remote.
