Simple steps to replace the battery in your TL's remote key fob
A tiny coin cell battery installed inside the your keyless entry remote. Remove screw on the back of the remote key fob. Spin the key fob over and find for at least one fastener holding in the plastic.
Carefully try to disassemble your fob with pry tools. Change 1 CR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with fresh one CR2025. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, check that all functions works by pressing buttons on key fob.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your case two halves together and put it together by hands from top to bottom. If your keyless entry remote case tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step. Screw fastener in the back of the keyless entry remote.
