Simple steps to change the battery in your car's keyless entry remote
A coin cell battery installed inside the your remote key fob. Gently try to pry apart your remote key fob with flat head screwdriver. Remove one CR1616 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it inside keyless entry fob's body. Battery must be installed with the same position as was a previous. Your key will not work if you by mistake put battery wrong way.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, make sure that everything is functioning by pressing buttons on circuit board.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your shell two halves together and assemble it in place by hands from top to bottom. If your keyless entry remote shell firmly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
