How to Open Your 2004 GMC Safari Key Fob and Change Battery

What type battery does 2004 GMC Safari key fob required
Before going to disassembly key fob make sure that you have all required tools and materials: 1 CR2032 battery and flat head screwdriver.- 1xCR2032 battery

Step by step instruction
Inside of your key fob installed small button cell battery. Delicately try to open your key with hands or flat head screwdriver. Remove CR2032 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Get new battery and install it inside keyless entry fob's case. Battery must be placed with the same position as was an old. Your key fob will not work if you by mistake put battery wrong way.
After the new battery installed, check remote key fob by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your fob’s case in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your shell two halves together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. If your key shell tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
