How to Replace the Battery in a 2004 Honda Element Key Fob

What type battery remote key fob require
Replacing battery in remote key fob require 1xCR2025 battery, flat head screwdriver and phillips head screwdriver. Prepare these materials and tools before opening and make sure to match the size of your fob’s batteries.- 1xCR2025 battery

Step by step guide
Inside of your remote key fob installed small button battery. Remove fasteners on the back of the keyless entry remote. Flip the keyless entry remote over and find for at least 1 screw holding in the plastic.
Gently try to disassemble your fob with flat head screwdriver. Replace 1xCR2025 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with new one CR2025. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new battery installed, verify keyless entry remote by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your keyless entry fob's case in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your shell two halves together and put it together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key body for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step. Screw the back of the remote key fob.
