2004 Lexus LS 430 Key Fob Battery Replacement Instructions

Simple steps to change the battery in your LS 430's keyless entry remote
A coin battery installed in the your keyless entry remote. Remove any internal key first, and then try to pry apart the remote key fob.
Carefully try to disassemble your key with hands or flat head screwdriver. Remove one CR1616 battery with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old battery with new one CR1616. Battery must be placed with the same polarity as was a previous. Your remote key fob will not work if you mistakenly put battery wrong way.
Before assembling fob’s case, make sure that everything is functioning by pressing buttons on circuit board.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to assemble the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your key case for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
