Simple steps to replace the battery in your C230's remote key fob
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed tiny button battery. Remove any internal key first, and then try to pry apart the remote key fob.
Delicately try to disassemble your fob with flat head screwdriver. Change 2xCR2025 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new batteries inside fob’s case. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling fob’s case, check that all functions works by pressing buttons on key fob.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your shell two halves together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your key fob case for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
