How to Open Your 2004 Mercedes-Benz E320 Key Fob & Change Battery

Keyless entry remote grant easy access to your E320. Once the key fob battery is dead or weak you will lose your keyless entry fob's ability to control remote functions. Below, we are going to tell you how to disassembly Mercedes-Benz remote key fob and replace a weak battery yourself. If you decide to do it at home near E320, follow our instruction, but first make sure you have tools and materials required.
What is the battery key fob use
Replacing batteries in key fob require flat head screwdriver and 2 CR2025 batteries. Prepare these materials and tools before opening and make sure to match the size of your fob’s batteries.- flat head screwdriver

Step by step instruction
Inside of your key fob installed tiny coin cell battery. Move the key out of the way if it is in the keyless entry remote.
Carefully try to pry apart your key fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Replace two CR2025 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new batteries inside keyless entry fob's case. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your key will not work if you put battery wrong way.
After the new batteries installed, check remote key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your fob’s body in reverse order.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Carefully try to assemble the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your remote key fob shell for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
