2004 Mercedes-Benz G500 Key Fob Battery Replacement Guide

If your Mercedes-Benz key fob isn't open doors correct, the cell battery probably needs to be changed. In this post, we are going to tell you how to open your car remote key fob and change a dead battery yourself. Step by step guide
Inside of your keyless entry remote installed tiny button cell battery. Move the key out of the way if it is in the remote key fob.
Accurately try to pry apart your key with flat head screwdriver. Replace CR2025 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Replace old batteries with new one CR2025. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check position on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new batteries installed, verify key fob by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your keyless entry fob's case in reverse order.
At this point squeeze keyless entry fob's back cover together. Line your shell pieces together and put it in place by hands from top to bottom. Check your keyless entry remote case for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
