Simple steps to change the battery in your car's remote key fob
A tiny coin cell battery installed in the your key fob. Remove any internal key before you try to pry apart the remote key fob.
Gently try to disassemble your fob with flat head screwdriver. Change two CR2025 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Get new batteries and install it in keyless entry fob's case. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the current cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
After the new batteries installed, check key fob functionality by pressing buttons. If all functions works, assemble your fob’s shell in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your body two halves together and assemble it in place by hands from top to bottom. If your key fob case tightly closed, we done. If not, repeat the last step.
