How to Replace the Battery in a 2004 Mercedes-Benz S500 Key Fob

Changing batteries in keyless entry remote require two CR2025 batteries and flat head screwdriver. Prepare these materials and tools before opening and make sure to match the size of your fob’s batteries.- 2xCR2025 batteries

Step by step instruction
Inside of your key fob installed coin cell battery. Move the key out of the way if it is in the remote key fob.
Delicately try to pry apart your keyless entry remote with flat head screwdriver. Change 2 CR2025 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Change old batteries with new one CR2025. Every battery has a negative and positive side and if you put the wrong connector down, the charge cannot go into your circuit board and make it work. Check polarity on battery, by "+" mark.
Before assembling keyless entry fob's case, verify that everything is functioning by testing buttons on keyless entry remote.
The last thing to do is put your cover back on fob. Delicately try to assemble the pieces together by hands from top to bottom. Check your keyless entry remote body for gaps. If it is not tightly closed try to repeat last step.
