Simple steps to replace the battery in your SL600's keyless entry remote
A tiny coin battery installed in the your remote key fob. Remove any internal key first, and then try to pry apart the keyless entry remote.
Accurately try to open your fob with hands or flat head screwdriver. Change two CR2025 batteries with flat head screwdriver.
Now it's time to install new batteries inside keyless entry fob's shell. Be sure to connect the battery the right way around in a circuit. Your key fob will not work if you connect battery wrong way.
After the new batteries installed, check keyless entry remote functionality by pressing buttons. If everything is functioning, assemble your keyless entry fob's shell in reverse order.
At this point squeeze fob’s back cover together. Line your body two halves together and assemble it in place by hands from top to bottom. Inspect your remote key fob shell for gaps. If it is not firmly closed try to repeat last step.
